Regional Transit

There is a variety of public transportation offered throughout the region.

CAC

Knox County Community Action Committee (CAC)Transit provides accessible, demand response public transportation services to the residents of Knox County who live outside of the City of Knoxville or outside the KAT service area. CAC also operates the Volunteer Assisted Transportation program that provides service to Knox County seniors and people with disabilities who require assistance throughout their entire trip.

East Tennessee Human Resource Agency

The door-to-door rural on-demand public transportation service of the East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (ETHRA) is provided by regular and lift-equipped vehicles in 16 counties.

Fun Time Trolley

The Fun Time Trolley system offers 7 routes serving Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Wears Valley, and Gatlinburg.

Gatlinburg Trolley

The Gatlinburg Trolley System provides service on seven fixed routes throughout the City of Gatlinburg with connections to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, and the Welcome Centers.

KAT

Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) is the City of Knoxville’s public transportation system, operating buses, trolleys and paratransit service across the city.

Oak Ridge Transit

Oak Ridge Transit provides on-demand service throughout the City of Oak Ridge.

Tennessee Vans

Tennessee Vans provides vehicles for agencies and organizations who offer transportation services to those they serve.
